MAN: Welcome to Nova Prosthetics. Are you looking to book?

WOMAN: Hello. I need to arrange an initial fitting for a 3D-printed prosthetic.

MAN: Excellent. Are you referred by a doctor, or joining as a private client?

WOMAN: My specialist sent my digital file over. I just need to register my personal details to get started.

MAN: Perfect. Could you give me your surname, please?

WOMAN: It’s Thallis. That’s spelled T-H-A-L-L-I-S.

MAN: Thank you. And just for our lifestyle records, could you tell me what your current occupation is? We always ask this so our engineering team can optimize the overall flexibility for your daily routine.

WOMAN: I work full-time as a chef. That means I spend my entire shift standing in a busy kitchen.

MAN: I see. That requires a highly durable build to handle the pressure. Now, which specific area do we need to focus on for the 3D print?

WOMAN: It’s for my lower leg. Specifically, I need the fitting for my left ankle. The old structure isn’t comfortable anymore.

MAN: Understood. Our advanced 3D machines can use various materials for the main socket. Some clients prefer a lightweight resin.

WOMAN: Actually, my doctor highly recommended nylon for this specific build. She mentioned it offers the best balance of strength and flexibility.

MAN: That’s a fantastic choice, very robust. You also get to choose the shade for the adjustable straps. We have dark green, or perhaps yellow?

WOMAN: I’d actually prefer purple, if you have it in stock. I think it looks quite unique.

MAN: We certainly do have that color available. Now, let’s look at the booking calendar for your measurement session. How about the 14th of August?

WOMAN: Let me check my diary quickly. Ah, I have a meeting that morning. Wait, no, that’s the following week. The 14th of August works perfectly.

MAN: Great. Would you prefer a morning or afternoon slot? I have an opening at 8:25 am.

WOMAN: That is a bit too early for me, considering the traffic.

MAN: Not a problem. What about 9:40 am? That usually avoids the morning rush hour.

WOMAN: Yes, lock that in. That time is ideal.

MAN: Excellent. For the measurement session, our technicians will attach movement trackers directly to your leg. So, please make sure you wear shorts rather than tight trousers.

WOMAN: That makes sense. I will remember to wear something loose.

MAN: Also, although we have your digital file, please remember to bring the original physical referral from your doctor. We must have it on file for the insurance claim.
